Agents for the Public Record

An Agent on Your Side of the Counter.

The public record already says what you’re owed, which medicines are registered and where you can compete. Kindred agents read the statute, the policy, the regulator’s register and the procurement notice, quote the exact line that applies to you, and draft the paperwork for you to approve.

The Agents

Four Agents, One Standard of Proof.

Each agent works one corner of the public record. All five follow the same rules: read the primary source, quote it exactly, and let a person decide.

Waive For patients and families Early access

Hospital Bills You May Not Have to Pay.

Every nonprofit hospital in the US must publish a financial assistance policy, and many forgive bills entirely below an income limit. Waive reads your bill from a photo, checks that hospital’s own policy and tells you in plain words what you likely owe. Then it fills in the application with you.

  1. 01Photograph the billWaive reads the hospital, the amount and the date. No typing.
  2. 02Answer two questionsWho lives with you, and your income from a benefit letter.
  3. 03Get a cited answerThe hospital’s own rule, quoted, with a link to its policy.
  4. 04Send the packetA filled application, a cover letter and a reminder for each deadline.

Dawa For people buying medicine in Nigeria Works with no internet

The NAFDAC Register in Your Pocket, No Signal Needed.

About one medicine in ten in low- and middle-income countries is substandard or falsified, and most rural Nigerians buy from a shop with no pharmacist. Dawa keeps NAFDAC’s full register and its public alerts on the phone. Photograph the box and it reads the NAFDAC number, checks it against both, and speaks the verdict in Hausa, English or Pidgin.

  1. 01Photograph the boxDawa reads the NAFDAC number, batch and expiry date on the phone. The photo never leaves it.
  2. 02Checked against the registerEvery registered product and every NAFDAC alert is stored on the phone, so the check needs no signal.
  3. 03Hear the verdictGreen, amber or red, read aloud in Hausa, English or Pidgin, with NAFDAC’s own description of the pack to compare.
  4. 04Report when a signal returnsReports wait on the phone and upload later. One number reported from several phones is flagged on all of them.

Lull never asks for money

Sign in with Google at lull.kindred-ai.dev and answer seven questions. Your answers never leave the phone and are kept under your account.

Lull is not a program and not advice. Each program decides. If Kindred earns a referral fee on a trip you book, your check and letter never change because of it.

The Kindred Standard

Every Answer Shows Its Work.

If an agent can’t point to the line it relied on, it can’t use it. These four rules apply to every Kindred agent.

  1. § 1

    Primary Sources Only

Agents read the statute, the regulation, the hospital’s own policy and the original notice. Summaries and secondhand posts don’t count.

  2. § 2

    Every Value Carries Its Quote

Each fact an agent reports is tied to an exact quote and matched word for word against the source. When the quote doesn’t match, the fact is dropped.

  3. § 3

    People Decide

Agents draft and you approve. Nothing is filed, mailed or sent until a person says yes.

  4. § 4

    Collect as Little as Possible

Waive and Dawa read the photo of your bill or your medicine box without keeping it. Your Google account only tells each product which data is yours; nothing else is collected. Personal details are encrypted, and one tap deletes a case.

Why Kindred

kin·dred

/ˈkɪn.drəd/ · adjective

Of the same kind. On the same side.

The Government Has Experts on Its Side of the Counter. We Build the Ones That Sit on Yours.

Much of the public record goes unused because it is hard to read. A patient can’t work through a long assistance policy at the kitchen table, a caregiver in Kano can’t look up a NAFDAC number with no signal, and a Korean defense supplier can’t watch every notice on SAM.gov. Our agents do the reading, show their sources and leave each decision to the person they work for.

Bring Us a Problem the Public Record Can Settle.

We work with patients, families and advocates through Waive, with caregivers, medicine vendors and health workers in Nigeria through Dawa, with family caregivers through Lull, and with billing offices, vendors and rural providers through Tender. If you run a hospital financial assistance office, a medicines regulator or a public program, write to us.
